Corrosion is a constant battle for all crews on salt or even brackish waterways. This led HUDSON to develop our SalTi™ standard. Wherever carbon on the Ultimate SP is in direct contact with metal, that metal must be the noble Titanium. The Carbon Power Board is no exception, with Titanium threaded inserts in both the Carbon Toe-Bar and Carbon Down-Tube, and an oversized Titanium washer under the upper knob which serves both to distribute the load, and act as a guide for the height markings.
