Polish Success

Monday, September 21st, 2009  

Following on a silver medal  at the World Championships, the Polish Lightweight Women’s Double repeated their performance finishing second at the European Championships, again to the reigning World Champions  Greece.

Vienna was the site for the World Masters Games where a Polish Masters Quad captured Gold.

Stroke: Ireneusz  Krzemiński (club: AZS -AWF Warszawa ),  3: Przemysław Mieszkowski (club: AZS-AWF Poznań ),  2: Dariusz Stefanowski (club :AZS Politechnika Wrocław ) ,  bow: Sławomir Czerwiński  ( club : STW  Szczecin.).


At the European University Championships, Polish boats were representing various universities from Poznan and Bydgoszcz. In all they took an impressive six medals in the following events:
